Kevin Nash
Director General, LCIA
Kevin Nash is Director General of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), serving as Chief Executive Officer, principal liaison with the Board and Court, and representing the LCIA internationally. He joined the LCIA after 13 years in Singapore as Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), where he led a 25-member Secretariat administering thousands of international cases under SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules. As Registrar, he advised the President and SIAC Court, made procedural decisions, appointed arbitrators, reviewed awards, and led drafting of the SIAC Rules 2016, SIAC Investment Arbitration Rules 2017, and SIAC Rules 2025.
Recognised as a “Global Leader” by Who’s Who Legal, Kevin is described by peers as a “rock star of arbitration” who is “smart, practical, and willing to do the hard work.” He actively participates in UNCITRAL Working Groups II and III and frequently speaks, lectures, and conducts arbitration training. Kevin holds a BA from Mount Allison University, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, and an LLM in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University, where he was named Outstanding Alumnus in 2023. He worked at a leading Canadian “Seven Sister” law firm and is qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario. He speaks English and French.
